Stay Fold is available in a 6 Fold and 5 Fold. Which one is right for you?
6 Fold
Shirred on rod pocket type drapery generally wants to forn several folds. Therefore, a 6 Fold would be more accomodating for that natural look. Usually, this will be the case for normal weght fabrics.
5 Fold
One width of material naturally wants to form 5 pleats, therefore forming 5 folds. If you have heavier weight fabric, you may only form 5 folds even on the shired drapery.
For panels with one and one half widths of material, the Stayfolds can be overlapped to accomodate the panel. Simply cut one end return off of two Stayfolds. You only need return on each end of the device, not in the center. Because the Stayfolds rest into either the hem or the pocket tape attached to the panel, there is no need to fasten the Stayfolds together. |
